Entre Deux Eaux
Chalet ‘Entre Deux Eaux’ is a 19th Century Village House situated ‘Between the two waters’ of Morzine. Originally the site of the village forge, this old stone house has been restored to provide comfortable winter & summer holiday accommodation with easy access to the excellent skiing and alpine pursuits offered by the Portes du Soleil.
The Portes du Soleil is made up of a group of mountain resorts straddling the French & Swiss borders with Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) to the north and Mont Blanc & Chamonix about an hour south.
The area has 8 ski resorts in Haute Savoie, France and 5 in Valais, Switzerland.
The 650 kilometres of prepared pistes and 200 lifts are linked by a recently updated ski lift system with ‘handsfree’ lift passes available for the entire area – enabling you to ski the famous Portes du Soleil route.
The resorts were once mountain farming communities and indeed this remains an important element in the local economy – you can still see cheese made traditionally in Abondance & Morzine – we recommend that you sample the local produce, including delicious Savoyarde wines.
Entre Deux Eaux is exclusively run by the owners Julie & Lesley - with the help of a member of staff. We live here all year and take great pride in the chalet and the service we provide at our home in the Alps. Our guest book is full of high praise of our food, comfort of the rooms and our organisational expertise - we hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you to our chalet next winter.
